According to a July 3rd UDN NEWS’ Money section article, the Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd., which is located in southern Taiwan has entered the 3D printing industry. Tongtai developed metal powder bed printing, sand casting fields, and spray coated sand molds which together form a multi-directional 3D printing product line.
Jui-Hsiung Yen, President of Tongtai said that the process of 3D printing is suitable for customized, small volume and diverse products. A wide variety of product applications can met through 3D printing technology. There is a lot of business potential for 3D printing in Taiwan.
